Return & Refund Policy
At Mova Decor, customer satisfaction is a priority. We comply with UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) and offer a 14-day return and refund guarantee, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility for Return
- Products must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with invoice or proof of purchase.
- Products that arrive damaged must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with proof of damage (e.g., unboxing video or clear photos).
Non-Returnable Products
- Customized products, made-to-order items, personalized décor, custom-sized frames, any 3D frames, and 3D installation products are non-returnable, unless defective or damaged upon delivery.
- Canvas, Borderless, and UV frames are also considered made-to-order products and cannot be returned, except in cases of damage, supported with unboxing proof.
- Products damaged due to customer mishandling, improper installation, or exposure to unsuitable conditions (direct sunlight, humidity, water damage, etc.) are not eligible for return.
- Returns or refunds are not accepted for change of mind after an order is placed, as most products are made-to-order. However, customers may submit a return request. Approval will be at the sole discretion of our production team and dependent on whether a new order for the same product has been received from another customer.
Return Process
- Customers must email info@movadxb.com within the 14-day window, stating the reason for return and attaching evidence (photos/videos).
- Our support team will review the request and arrange collection, if applicable.
- Once the product is received, our inspection team will examine the item.
- If the return is approved, a refund, replacement, or store credit will be processed.
Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed via the original method of payment (credit card, debit card, or bank transfer).
- Refunds may take 7–21 working days, depending on bank/payment provider.
- If the product is returned without a valid defect or reason, return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
Replacement Policy
- Where possible, customers may opt for a replacement product instead of a refund.
- If the requested item is out of stock, we may offer a similar product of equal value or issue a refund.
Customer Rights Under UAE Law
In accordance with the UAE Consumer Protection Law:
- Customers have the right to clear product information, accurate pricing, and transparent delivery timelines.
- Customers are entitled to refunds or replacements if products are defective, not as described, or unsafe for use.
- Businesses must ensure secure online transactions and protect consumer privacy.
Limitations of Liability
- Mova Decor shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or customs delays.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.
- Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sharjah Courts, UAE.
